2022 QSport AGM Updates

Following the QSport AGM on Wednesday, 30 April 2022, Ben Callard (Chair) advised that in line with the Constitution in relation to the appointment and election of Directors, this meeting would appoint a Board Director for two of the four Sports Groups plus one General Director and an Independent Director.
Peter Cummiskey (Secretary) than advised members of the following successful nominees, to fill those director vacancies for two-year terms from this meeting.
- AQUATIC - Melanie Woosname (Water Polo Queensland)
- FIELD TEAM - Alison Lyons (Hockey Queensland)
- GENERAL - Sean Muir (AusCycling - Queensland)
- INDEPENDENT - Amanda Fielding
The Motion to the elect the four directors was carried.
Ben Callard (Chair) congratulated the elected Board members and advised the QSport Board would confer soon on the positions of Chair, Deputy Chair and Treasurer to be filled for the next twelve (12) months. He also thanked outgoing Board members Samantha Clarn and Adam Yates for their service.
