The man who put basketball on the map in Queensland, ‘Kerley’ coached the Brisbane Bullets to the National Basketball League title in 1985 and ’87 after claiming the first two NBL titles with St.Kilda in 1979-80.
An NBL Hall of Fame member, he piloted the Bullets for 12 years from 1984-90 and 1998-2000 and also served as General Manager. A dual Olympian, he represented Australia as a player in Munich in 1972 and as an assistant-coach in Seoul in 1988
