A dual Olympic representative with the Kookaburras, taking fourth place in Seoul in 1988 and winning a bronze medal in Atlanta in 1996. Also won a World Cup gold medal in 1986.
From Maryborough, he was a Queensland representative from 1980-96 and wore Australian colors from 1985-96, and was national captain in ’96, A member of the Queensland Team of the Century and the Queensland and Australian Hall of Fame, he is currently coaching the New Zealand women's team.
