A winner of 22 PGA Tour Australasia tournaments including two Australian Opens and three Australian PGA Championships, Senior has been one of the most recognisable faces in Australian golf for some time. When in the army in Singapore, his Dad introduced him to golf with a starter set to keep him out of trouble.
Senior turned professional in 1978 and joined the PGA Tour of Australia, now the PGA Tour of Australasia. During his career, he has had over 20 wins including the Australian PGA Championship and Australian Open in 1989, the Australian Masters in 1991 and 1995, a second Australian PGA Championship in 2003, 2010 and the Australian Open again in 2012.
He also topped the tour's Order of Merit in 1987, 1989 and 1993.
