These Awards recognise outstanding contributors to Queensland sport, with each recipient investing countless hours in their chosen sport over several decades and across numerous roles across court, field and pool.

Champion surf life saver Trenor Hendy AM was honoured as the 23rd ‘Legend of Queensland Sport’, while Jodie Purves (Cricket), Tracey Freeman PLY (Athletics), Sam Trimble MBE (Cricket), John Lang (Rugby League) and John McCoy OAM (Sport Media) were inducted into the Queensland Sport Hall of Fame, which is proudly supported by The Courier-Mail, Channel Seven and the Queensland Government.
