Member Protection Information Officer Community of Practice Series

Play by the Rules has launched a Community of Practice for Member Protection Information Officers! Come join fellow MPIOs for an hour of practical, interactive discussions to improve your MPIO skills and make new connections. The first session in this series will focus on how to be an effective MPIO. Using activities drawn from real world scenarios, we’ll unpack what is and isn’t the role of an MPIO, and when to refer people for further action.

You’ll walk away more confident to:

• Recognise what should be managed through formal complaints processes vs dealing with them informally
• Understand the boundaries of the MPIO role
• Provide accurate advice to members and participants about their rights and options regarding complaints
