Sporting Wheelies launches Inclusive Sport Kickstart pilot for QSport members

Sporting Wheelies has announced the launch of a tailored Inclusive Sport Kickstart pilot program for QSport members, building on the success of its Year of Accessible Tourism model.

The practical free one-day program is designed to support sporting organisations to become more inclusive, combining immersive disability awareness training with facilitated action planning.

Each workshop will guide participants through a structured day, beginning with an overview and sector context, followed by an interactive disability awareness session aimed at building empathy, confidence and practical understanding. The day concludes with a hands-on planning workshop where organisations will review their Disability Inclusion Action Plans (DIAPs), identify priority actions, assign responsibilities and confirm next steps.

Each round will host up to 10 member organisations, with one to three representatives per organisation encouraged to attend.

Developed with resource-constrained sports in mind, the program focuses on delivering practical, organisation-specific outcomes that participants can implement immediately.
