Everyone has a role to play in driving systemic change in sport: what’s yours?

The Diversity and Inclusion in Sports Alliance (DISA) is proud to presnt the 2026 forum: Agitate, Innovate, Orchestrate.

  • The Agitator brings issues to light.
  • The Innovator creates actionable solutions.
  • The Orchestrator scales change across the system.

Featuring an exciting range of DEI leaders and change makers, the forum will explore three roles everyone can play to create a more inclusive sporting landscape in Australia.

In partnership with the Queensland Government, Sports House Management and Outdoors Queensland, we are hosting a watch party which includes

  • Dylan Alcott AO (he/him), disability advocate, athlete, Paralympian and philanthropist
  • Tanya Hosch (she/her), nationally respected leader and advocate in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander policy, social inclusion, governance, and public advocacy
  • Shauna Bookal (she/her), President and CEO, Inclusion in Canadian Sports Network
  • Courtney Fewquandie (she/her), General Manager First Nations Football at Football Australia
  • Emcee – Kate Thomas (she/her), Australasian Lead for The Centre for Healing and Justice Through Sport and Acting Manager at Welcoming Clubs
  • Sharin Milner (she/her), former WNBL player, social impact leader and founder of the Phoenix Basketball Club
  • Nabila Omer (she/her), Parent and player at Phoenix Basketball Club
  • Kerry Tavrou (he/him), Head of Inclusion & Diversity at Tennis Australia

The DISA forum is a collaboration between CM Sport, Pride in Sport, Play by the Rules, the Australian Sports Commission, Victoria University and Monash University.
