Queensland Sport Awards

The annual Queensland Sport Awards gala was first staged in 1995, and is recognised as the ‘night of nights’ for the state’s sport industry.

The Awards celebrate the achievements of athletes, teams, coaches, officials, administrators, volunteers and organisations across the industry.

In 2009, the Queensland Sport Hall of Fame was introduced as a core feature of the event and each year the event inducts outstanding Queenslanders to the Hall of Fame, and an existing Hall of Fame Member is elevated to the status of ‘Legend of Queensland Sport’.
