CQUniversity Announces New Micro-Credentials of Community Sports

CQUniversity has announced a new suite of free micro-credentials designed to support people involved in grassroots sport across Queensland. The training focuses on practical skills for volunteers, match officials, team managers, coaches, secretaries, treasurers, club administrators – essentially anyone who plays a role in keeping a local sport club running. This initiative has been co-designed with industry partners, including QSport.

The initiative will help strengthen and expand Queensland’s grassroots sporting community ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

These micro-credentials will be delivered online and available statewide from early 2027, offering flexible learning options for people across community sport in Queensland.
