Queensland’s not-for-profit organisations have another chance to secure vital funding, with Round 127 of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund now open. Grants of up to $35,000 are available to help strengthen community sport, upgrade facilities, and support the volunteer who keep our sector moving.
A brand-new online grants portal has launched alongside this round, giving organisations a clearer, more streamlined way to apply, track progress, and understand requirements.
Why This Matters to Queensland Sport
Each year, the Gambling Community Benefit Fund delivers more than $60 million to community groups across the state, making it Queensland’s largest one-off community grants program. For sport, this funding can support.
- Purchasing new or upgraded sporting equipment.

A Recent Success Story
Attorney-General and Minister for justice and Minister for Integrity Deb Frecklington highlighted the impact of Gambling Community Benefit Fund funding, pointing to the Goodiwindi Pony Club, which received $16,720 to build a footpath around its clubhouse.
The upgrade created a cleaner, safer and more accessible space for members and visitors, reducing maintenance for volunteers and improving the experience for everyone who uses the facility.
