Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO): Training Now Available
Queensland’s sport and active recreation sector can now access free Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) training, designed to help organisations create safe, fair and inclusive environments for everyone involved in sport.
The MPIO role is an important part of modern sport governance, MPIOs provide clear, impartial information to individuals who are considering or making a complaint, helping them understand their rights, responsibilities and available options. While MPIOs do not investigate or mediate complaints, they play a vital role in supporting safe and respectful participation across clubs, associations and state sporting organisations.
