QSport and Business Chamber Queensland Launch Statewide Sport Industry Remuneration & Benefits Survey

QSport has partnered with Business Chamber Queensland to deliver the Queensland Sport Industry Remuneration and Benefits Survey, a new statewide initiative designed to strengthen sporting organisations with clear, reliable information about people who make sport happen across Queensland. The project will help clubs, associations, and organisations better understand remuneration, employment conditions, community, demographics, volunteer and staff benefits, recruitment challenges, and future planning needs.

Purpose of the Survey

Queensland’s sport community is growing rapidly as the state moves toward the 2032 Olympic & Paralympic Games. With thousands of passionate people involved in delivering sport, from administration and coaches to volunteers and officials, having a clear picture of how our sector is evolving is essential.

This survey will help organisations:

• Benchmark salaries and benefits.
• Understand community and participation trends.
• Identify challenges in attracting and supporting people.
• Plan for future growth.
• Strengthen their teams and programs.

The survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and is open to sport organisations across Queensland.

Confidentiality & Privacy

All responses are strictly private and confidential.

Feedback is collected anonymously and reported only in aggregated form, ensuring no individual or organisation can be identified.

The information provided will be used solely to support Queensland’s sport community and will be handled in accordance with Business Chamber Queensland’s privacy obligations.
